The Deluxe Steel Drop Arm Commode features an innovative knock-down frame with a padded, open-front vinyl toilet seat. It is designed to maintain sanitation while increasing convenience as a mobility aid. The bariatric commode is ideal for individuals who are recovering from surgery or who have a limited range of motion. The commode chair can be used as a bedside toilet safety frame or raised toilet seat, shortening the distance between the bed and the bathroom.

Drop-Arm Mechanism Allows Safe Lateral Transfers

The simple release drop-arm mechanism allows for safe lateral patient transfers to and from the commode. Both padded armrests can be individually lowered so patients can be transferred to the bedside commode from either side. The commode includes a removable 12-quart commode bucket with carry handle and splash shield. The rubber ferrules at the bottom of each leg provide added stability and prevent the chair from moving on slippery surfaces, making it ideal toilet safety equipment.

Adjustable Height Commode with a Powder-Coated Steel Frame

The push-button height adjustable legs ensure the commode can be easily modified so the patient’s feet are firmly planted on the ground while seated, providing extra bathroom safety. The commode adjusts from the floor to the seat 19″-23″ in height. The commode has a toilet seat measuring 13.5″ wide with an opening 8″ x 12″ and a 17.5″ width between the arms. The grey, powder-coated steel frame provides durability while the welded construction ensures the commode will hold weight up to 300 lbs.
